Mr. Ferdi D’Souza comes with over 20 years of experience as an internationally recognized expert in Leadership development in the public and private sectors.

With in-depth experience as a Facilitator, Consultant and Coach, he has played a key role in client engagements, serving as a large-group programme leader, a facilitator for executive teams facing challenges and opportunities and one-to-one coaching for individuals at all levels of organisational leadership.

Independent Consultant with JMJ Associates (www.jmj.com) on their Incident and Injury Free Project for Chevron in Kazakhstan. I am working with the Delivery Manager and his leadership team on the creation of an Incident and Injury Free culture for the project.

2011 to 2014 – JMW Worldwide UK Limited www.jmw.com Senior Consultant in their London Office accountable for the design and delivery of leadership development programmmes, consulting engagement for senior leadership teams and coaching for senior leaders and executives.

2008- 2011 – Director of D’Souza Gair Consulting UK – projects including transformation of the team at UNICEF, Uganda and the Leadership Team of a mobile phone company in India.

2009- 2011 – Associate with The Breakthrough Group working particularly on their Train the Trainer programme for Groupe Danone.

Railway Company – United Kingdom

Supported the leadership of the organisation as they faced an unprecedented challenge in delivering on a next round of ambitious commitments. Worked with the Extended Leadership Team as they moved beyond “business as usual” to create a performance culture, aimed at ensuring a world-class railway in Britain. As a result of the engagement, there were significant improvements in safety, dramatic reductions in delays, and an increase in overall customer satisfaction.

Financial Services and Insurance Organization

Designed and led customised leadership development programmes as part of this company’s Transformation Plan for those leaders identified as potential future executives and nominated for accelerated development support.

International Aluminum Mining Company

Was part of the JMW team supporting a project team put together by the client with the express purpose of dealing with an issue that threatened the existence of the asset in the country. The government was seriously considering imposing a tax that would have made the operation unviable. We designed a response to the challenge and coached the team in communicating with the various government departments, as well as other companies affected, in such a way that the threat not only did not materialize, but a way forward which was a win-win for everybody was found and implemented.

UN Organization

Worked with the country head of a UN Organisation to design and deliver a transformational program for their officers and staff in Uganda, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh over a period of several years.

Global Oil Company

Designed and led customized leadership development programmes as part of this company’s plan for those leaders identified as potential for future senior roles in the organisation.
