Indranil Gupta is a PGDPM&IR (MBA in HR) from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, India (Class of 1993), one of the leading Business Management Schools in Human Resources in India, Asia. In a career spanning over two decades, he has had extensive and well-rounded experience in the various facets of Human Resources function, in both Industry Practitioner and Management Consultant capacities.
He has worked in various Leadership Roles with Companies like Sprint-RPG (RPG Enterprises), Ericsson-Hewlett Packard Telecom (EHPT), Mahindra-British Telecom (Tech Mahindra), Bharti-Televentures (Bharti Airtel) and Xansa (Steria), driving their Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Performance and Talent Reward processes. He was also a Co-founder of the Talent Consulting firm, Qwest HR Services Pvt. Ltd. based in New Delhi, India.
His areas of interests and expertise have been Organization Design, Process Engineering, Change Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Competency Development, Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, Policy Formulation, Workforce Analytics, System Audits and HRIS Automation, amongst others.
He has efficiently and effectively managed HR functions in organization start-ups and transformations at different stages in his career. He has successfully executed multiple and complex assignments and projects, in both Indian and International environments, often under challenging and demanding company and market circumstances. He has also travelled to USA and Europe as an integral requirement of his work in different organizations.
He is widely recognized and regarded in the industry as a thought leader and one of the pioneers in the domain of “Total Rewards”, whereby he has influenced and transformed organizations by intervening and re-structuring their systems and processes through his radical and pragmatic approach, so as to ensure that HR can give its best value for money in terms of numbers and be true “Business Partners”.
He has delivered training and lecture sessions in the areas of HR, Total Rewards, Leadership Development and Change Management for participants and audiences across various levels, institutions and organizations in India and abroad. He has also been a guest speaker in national seminars, a visiting faculty in management institutes and other public forums.
He is passionate about identifying, nurturing and developing talents, and has been a guide, mentor and coach to many budding, young and successful HR professionals.
